Pork Guisantes is similar to Pork Menudo in taste. In English, Guisantes means green peas. It is a terrific recipe for fiestas, birthdays, or any occasions. If you are rushing for an ulam (meal) everyday or having a hard time preparing a meal for your visitors, it is one of the easiest and quickest dishes to prepare. This is also perfect with rice, and makes a terrific lunch for the whole family.

- 1/2 kilo pork cut in strips
- 1 red bell pepper cut in strips
- 1/4 cup sweet peas or green peas
- 2 tomatoes, diced or 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 small onion chopped
- 3 cloves cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup water or beef broth
- salt and pepper to taste

- Heat cooking oil in a wok. Saute onion and garlic until soft and fragrant.
- Add in pork meat and saute until light brown.
- Place in diced tomatoes and stir for few minutes; pour in water and simmer over low heat for at least 30 minutes or until pork is tender.
- When pork is tender, season with salt and pepper; add in bell pepper and sweet peas. Stir and simmer for another few minutes until cooked.
- Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!
