I've always been a fan of hamburger helper. Let's face it, I grew up on it. I have always questioned what goes into it, however. In light of that, I decided to collect up my spices and make make my own. Believe me, I was not disappointed.

Add all of the dry spices to a small mixing bowl and mix until well combined. Set aside.
Add the oil to a pan over medium high heat. Place the ground beef in and fry until browned. Drain any excess oil.
Pour in the water and milk. Mix and bring to a boil.
Add in the Worcestershire sauce and spices. Stir until well combined.
Put the macaroni noddles in. Stir once again and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes until the liquid reduces and the noodles are cooked.
Add in the cheese and stir until it melts and combines.
Plate and garnish with parsley. Enjoy!

Again, adjust the seasoning according to your liking. I always make extra and put it a bottle or pouch so I have it on hand.
You can also spice the recipe up by adding diced tomatoes instead of water or some heavy cream along with the milk. You can also add a bit of Italian seasoning.
