Ingredients
Instructions
-
Place a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
-
Push the beef to one side of the skillet. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the empty side and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
-
Mix the onion and garlic into the beef. Season with the salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until everything is well combined.
-
Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
-
Add the egg noodles and stir well. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
-
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the table cream and cheese. Mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Simmer for a few more minutes until it thickens.Â
-
Turn off the heat and garnish with the chopped parsley.
-
Serve and enjoy!

Note
Notes
- If the noodles absorb too much liquid before becoming tender, add an extra 1/4 to 1/2 cup of beef broth as needed.
- For a richer, creamier sauce, substitute heavy cream for the table cream.
- Freshly shredded old cheddar melts more smoothly than pre-shredded cheese.
- Be sure to stir the noodles occasionally while they cook to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the skillet.
- Extra old cheddar can be sprinkled over the top just before serving for an even cheesier finish.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated on the stovetop or in the microwave.
- A splash of beef broth or milk can be added when reheating to restore the creamy texture.
- This recipe serves 6 and is perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, or whenever you're craving a simple old-fashioned comfort food meal.
