Ingredients
  • 1 pound or 1/2 kilo of lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce (I use my homemade sauce, but you can use the sauce of your choice.)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershirershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 medium tube of refrigerated Pillsbury biscuits
  • 8 medium 2 inch by 2 inch cubes of cheese or grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 large egg white, beaten
Instructions
  1. Add the oil to a pan over medium high heat. Place the beef in and fry until cooked though and browned.

  2. Put in the onion and garlic. Saute for about 2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add in the ketchup, barbeque sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir until well incorporated. Set aside.

  4. Open the Pillsbury biscuits, place each one on a floured surface, and roll them out to about 5 or 6 inches in diameter.

  5. Place cheese onto the bottom of each biscuit followed by about 2 tbsp of the filling. Pinch shut so they resemble a dumpling and place seam down on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  6. Coat each of the cheeseburger bombs with the egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  7. Place the cheeseburger bombs into a 375 degree F or 190 degree C preheated oven for about 15 minutes.

  8. Serve and enjoy your beefy cheeseburger bombs.

The seasoning added to the filling are my suggestions. You can add the seasoning of your choice. I use old cheddar cheese or processed cheese. Again, the choice of cheese is optional.
