Black Pepper Chicken in 30 Minutes

Our black pepper is fast, simple and delicious. It is made with boneless, skinless chicken breasts, and combination of vegetables, and ground black pepper. The outcome is out of this world. As always, your friends and family will love it and ask for the recipe. The great thing is, it can be done in one pan in under 30 minutes which makes it a great midweek meal.

Ingredients
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 2 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 1 medium shallot, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, cubed
  • For the Marinate:
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • For the Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Add the chicken to a bowl. Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, corn starch, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Allow to marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.

  2. While the chicken is marinating, make the sauce by combining the ingredients in a small bowl or measuring cup.

  3. Add some oil to a preheated pan. Place the chicken in and fry until cooked through and white.

  4. Add the vegetables in toss and fry until tender crisp.

  5. Pour the sauce in and fry until the sauce thickens.

  6. Serve over a bed of hot rice and enjoy your one pan black pepper chicken.
