Brown Sugar Pesto Chicken Breasts

brown sugar pesto chicken
Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Brown sugar pesto chicken certainly falls into this category. I can't think of too many people that don't like the sweetness of brown sugar and the unique richness of pesto. Combine the two with a few spices and you have a dinner that will stun your dinner guests. I use boneless skinless breasts in the recipe because they are healthier and so much easier to work with. But there is no reason you can't use a bone in cut such as drumsticks or thighs. Just adjust the cooking time accordingly.

Note

You can vary the types of ingredients and amounts. For example, you can use a basil pesto instead of tomato; although, I like the tomato much better. A bit of garlic, etc. could be added too.
