In this recipe, we'll show you how to make this easy Beefy Skillet using simple and affordable ingredients. It's packed with flavor and is sure to become a family favorite. Plus, since it's all made in one pan, cleanup is a breeze!

  • 1 pound medium ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 medium stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 large can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 large can of lima beans
  • 1/2 medium bell pepper, julienned
  • 1/2 cup red and yellow banana peppers (These are pickled and totally optional)
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 5 - 6 medium drops of tabasco sauce (Once again, this is optional.)
  1. Add oil to a pan over medium high heat. Place ground beef in and fry until cooked through and no longer pink. Add in onion and garlic. Saute until fragrant. This should take about 2 or 3 minutes. Place the celery in and fry for an additional few minutes until fork tender. 

  2. Add in diced tomatoes, lima beans, bell pepper, banana peppers, Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, salt, tabasco sauce, and pepper. Stir, place a lid on, and simmer for about 10 minutes. 

  3. Plate, serve, and enjoy your easy beefy skillet.
