Ingredients
  • 10 medium chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 - 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 quart (litre) oil for frying
  • 2 medium green onions, chopped for garnish
  • For the Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons Franks hot sauce (I use Frank's, but you can use the sauce of your choice.)
  • 1/2 small lime, squeezed
Instructions
  1. Add the chicken wings into a mixing bowl followed by the salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, and paprika. Stir until well combined.

  2. Add the oil to a pan and heat it to about 350 degrees F. Place the chicken in. Fry, in batches, and fry until golden brown and cooked through. Set them aside on a wire rack.

  3. Place the butter into a pan over medium high heat and allow it to melt down. Add in the honey and stir for a few minutes.

  4. Add in the hot sauce and lime. Continue to stir.

  5. Place the chicken wings in. Toss and stir until completely coated.

  6. Plate. Garnish with green onions and enjoy.
