  1. Add the bacon to a pan over medium high heat. Fry until semi crispy. It actually depends on the crispness you enjoy. Set it aside on a plate.

  2. Place the rice into a mixing bowl. Add in the egg, salt, pepper, and garlic. Gently mix until well incorporated.Ā

  3. Place the rice into a pan and stir and fry until heated through and the egg is cooked. Add the rice to the bottom of a baking dish.

  4. To make the white sauce, place the butter into a pan over medium low heat. Allow it to melt down. Add in the flour and whisk until a roux forms. Pour in half the milk and continue to whisk until it thickens. Pour the remaining milk in and whisk once again. Add in the cheese and whisk until the mixture is smooth and silky.Ā

  5. Pour the white sauce over the rice and smooth out. Crack in the egg and lay the bacon over the top. Spread the mozzarella over the bacon.

  6. Baked at 425 degree F for about 14 or 15 minutes until the egg is set and everything is heated through.Ā

  7. Serve and enjoy.
