Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with this cheesy, creamy, and flavorful potato sausage bake. Tender potatoes are layered with savory sausage, then smothered in a rich ranch-inspired sauce and melted cheese. This hearty dish is perfect for a cozy night in or a family gathering.

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F or 190 C.Β 

  2. Add the sausage to a pan. Fry over medium high heat until cooked through. Move the sausage to one side and add in the onion and garlic. Stir and saute until fragrant. Set aside in the casserole dish of your choice. Add the potatoes to the same pan and fry for about 5 minutes. Add the potatoes to the casserole dish.Β 

  3. Add the melted butter, milk, and ranch mix to a small bowl or measuring cup. Mix until well combined.Β Β 

  4. Pour the mixture over the potatoes and sausge. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add half the old cheese over and the white extra old cheese. Mix until well combined. Place in a 375 degree F or 200 C preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender.Β 

  1. Remove from the oven and add the remaining old cheese over the top. Place back in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese melts.Β 

  1. Garnish with parsley, serve, and enjoy your Cheesy Ranch Potato with Sausage.Β
