Add the flour and salt to a mixing bowl or food process. Mix or pulse until combined.
Add in the butter and mix or pulse until a crumbly mixture forms.
Pour half the butter milk in and mix or pulse. Pour the other half in and pulse until a dough forms.
Using an ice cream scoop or two spoons, scoop up some of the mixture and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave a bit of space in between scoops.
Bake at 400 degrees F or 200 C for 15 to 17 minutes until they are cooked through and browned.
Crumble the sausages onto a plate.
Place them in a pan over medium high heat and fry until no longer pink and cooked through.
Add in half the flour and stir until the sausages are coated.
Add in the other half of the flour and stir. The sausage will begin to appear a bit too dry and that is what you want.
Pour the milk in and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, stir, and simmer until the gravy thickens a bit more.
Remove the biscuits from the oven, pour the gravy over, and enjoy your classic drop biscuits with sausage gravy.

I use the honey garlic sausage in my recipe. You can, however, use any type of sausage you like. For example, Italian or breakfast sausages work really well too.
