I had guests coming over for an evening and wanted a yummy impressive snack. Spanakopita came to mind. I didn't want to buy the ones in the grocery store, however. So, I decided to make up my own. Let me tell you, they were an instant hit.

Add the spinach, feta, dill, garlic, and pepper to a bowl. Mix until well combined.
Lay 6 sheets of phyllo dough out (10 inches by 13 inches stacked together) and cut them into 3 equal sections.
Lay one section out and brush some melted butter over it. Lay another section over it and brush more butter.
Scoop up about a heaping tablespoon of the mixture and put it on the bottom of the strip of dough. Fold it over so a triangle forms. Continue folding back and forth into triangles until you reach the end of the strip. Brush some more butter over the top.
Continue the above process for the remaining strips and mixture.
Place the spanakopita triangles into a 375 F preheated oven for about 20 minutes until browned.
Serve and enjoy your spanakopita.
