Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
-
Add the butter to a 9 by 13 baking dish. If you don't have a 9 by 13, use two smaller baking dishes and divide the ingredients in half. Place the dish(s) in the oven while it's preheating.Β
-
Add the contents of the Red Lobster mix to a mixing bowl along with the extra pouch of seasoning in the box. Pour in the milk and, using a whisk or spoon, mix until well combined. While you're mixing and the butter is melting, mix the cream of chicken soup with the chicken stock in a separate bowl or measuring cup. Set both mixtures aside.Β
There are alternatives to the mixture such as pancake mix or Bisquick, but getting the Red Lobster is well worth the effort.
-
Remove the baking dishes containing the melted butter from the oven and place the shredded chicken into (over) the butter. Pour the batter of Red Lobster over the top. Season with the salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic. Then, pour the soup mixture over the top. DO NOT mix, simply pour it all over. Evenly distribute the mixed veggies over the top.Β
If you didn't buy precooked chicken from the store, you can poach it and shred it. Please watch the video.
-
Increase the temperature of the oven to 375 degrees F, place the dishes in, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove and let sit for about 10 or 15 minutes. It will appear a bit jiggly, but it will firm up.Β
-
Garnish with some parsley if you wish. You really don't have to as the green from the veggies will shine through. Serve and enjoy your Cozy Chicken Cobbler!
