For the Meatballs
  • 1 Pound of medium ground beef
  • 3 Cloves of chopped garlic
  • 2 Finely chopped green onions
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 Cup of Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp of ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tsp of Salt
  • 1 Tsp of ground black pepper
  • For the Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup of mayo
  • 2 Tbsp of sriracha
  • 1 Tbsp of honey
  • 1 Tbsp of rice wine vinegar
  • 5 Drops of sesame oil
  • For the Garnish
  • 1 Tbsp white and black sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp of chopped cilantro
Instructions
  1. Add the ground beef to a bowl followed by the garlic, green onions, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Using your hands or a spoon, mix until well combined. Form into a large ball. Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, grab up some of the mixture and form into evenly sized balls. You should get about 10 to 12 balls from the mixture. Set aside on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in a 375 degree F preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.

  2. While the meatballs are baking, make the sauce by adding the mayo, sriracha, honey, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil to a bowl. Mix until well combined.

  3. Remove the meatballs from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes until you can handle them. Place them into the sauce and roll them around until covered in the sauce. Set aside on a plate.

  4. Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro. Serve and enjoy your Easy Firecracker Meatballs!
