Note
- Choose Your Noodles: While egg noodles or spaghetti work great, feel free to use ramen, linguine, or even udon for a different twist. Just make sure they hold up to the sauce.
- Adjust the Heat: Like it spicier? Add extra chili flakes or a splash of sriracha. Prefer it milder? Cut back on the spice and let the sweet and garlicky flavors shine.
- Balance the Sweetness: Brown sugar or honey adds that essential sweetness, but you can adjust the amount to suit your taste. Start small and taste as you go.
- Add Veggies: Stir in julienned carrots, snow peas, or bell peppers for extra color, crunch, and nutrition.
- Make It Ahead: The ground pork mixture can be made in advance and reheated. Just cook the noodles fresh for best texture.
- Garnish for Impact: Top with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or fresh cilantro to finish it with a pop of flavor and color.
