Ingredients
    For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar (brown rice or apple cider. Plain will do as well.)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • For the Slaw
  • 1 pound (1/2 Kilo) ground chicken (You can use beef or pork as well.)
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 large bag or pre-made cole slaw
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1 medium chopped green onion for garnish
Instructions
  1. Add the sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, hot sauce, and fish sauce to a mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined. Set it aside.

  2. In a pan over medium high heat, add in the chicken. Fry until just cooked through and a bit brown. Place the onions in and continue to saute for a few minutes until the onions become translucent.

  3. Add the slaw mixture in. Cook and stir until tender. Follow this by pouring in the sauce. Continue to stir and cook until heated through.

  4. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy your egg roll in a bowl/crack slaw!

Note

You can use ground beef or pork instead of chicken.

The coleslaw can be chopped by hand, I just find it's easier to get the pre-cut bags.

Adjust the ingredients in the sauce according to your liking.
