Who would ever have though of making your favourite bagel into a breading for chicken strips. The best of two worlds. I have this experiment a try and the outcome was incredible. As one member said: "This recipe is beyond words."

Cut the chicken into strips and season with salt and pepper.
Place the bagels into a food process and pulse until they become similar to bread crumbs.
Add the bread crumbs to a mixing bowl followed by the Parmesan, hot pepper flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
Dredge the chicken strips into the butter and then into the bagel crumbs. Set aside on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place the strips into a 375 degree F or 180 C preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Serve with your favourite sauce and a garden salad. Enjoy!
* Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. Your daily value may be higher or lower depending on your calorie needs. Nutritional values are a within reason estimate and my vary depending on several factors.
As Always, adjust the seasoning according to your liking. In other works, add or omit what you please.
You can add some bbq sauce or hot sauce to the melted butter for additional flavour.
Use chicken tenderloins if you wish. I just find breasts and a bit more economical.
