Description

In this day and age, who isn't looking for a delicious budget friendly meal. Hamburger stew over mashed is just that. Look no further dinner is here in 30 minutes on a budget.

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • lean ground beef
  • 1/2 small chopped onion
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 8 medium button mushrooms sliced thinly
  • 1 cup mixed veggies
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
  1. Add the oil to a pan over medium high heat. Put the ground beef in and fry until browned.

  2. Add in the onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Stir and saute until the garlic is fragrant. 

  3. Add in the mixed veggies, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

  4. Add in the beef broth. Stir, bring to a boil, and stir and simmer for about 3 or 4 minutes. 

  5. Serve over mashed, garnish with parsley, and enjoy.
