Note
- Peach Selection: For the best flavor, use ripe, juicy peaches. You can also use a mix of peaches and nectarines.
- Crumble Topping: The key to a great crumble topping is to use cold butter. This will help create a flaky texture.
- Baking Time: Keep a close eye on the cobbler as baking times may vary. The topping should be golden brown and the filling bubbly.
- Serving Suggestions: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a dollop of sweetened whipped cream.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently before serving.
Variations:
- Spiced Cobbler: Add a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger to the filling for a warm, spiced flavor.
- Berry Cobbler: Replace peaches with your favorite berries, such as blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. Adjust the sugar amount according to the sweetness of the berries.
- Gluten-Free: Use a gluten-free flour blend for the crumble topping.
