  • 4 large Italian sausages, chopped into bit size chunks
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil for cooking
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 medium can of diced tomatoes (I use olive and garlic, but use the tomatoes of your choice.)
  1. Add the oil to a pan over medium high heat. Follow this by the sausages. Fry until the sausages are cooked though and browned.

  2. Push the sausages to the top of the pan. Add in the onions and bell peppers. Fry for a few minutes until the pepper begin to tenderize. Add in the garlic and stir and saute for about 2 minutes.

  3. Add in the Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir and fry until the seasoning coats everything and begins to activate.

  4. Add in the tomato paste, stir, and fry until everything is coasted with the paste. Add in the diced tomatoes and stir once again. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes.

  5. Serve and enjoy your one pan Italian sausage and peppers.
