Midweek meals are always hard. You come home tired and the last thing you want to do is slave over a hot stove. Well, one pan smothered pork chops in mushroom garlic gravy to the rescue. An easy, simple, and delicious meal done in 30 minutes. No fuss and no hassle. All you have to do is enjoy!

Season both sides of the chops with salt, pepper, and garlic.
Add the butter to a pan over medium high heat and let it melt down. Add in the oil followed by the chops.
Fry the chops until seared and cooked through. This will take about 6 minutes or so depending on the chops. Set them aside on a plate to rest.
Add the mushroom in and saute until they begin to sweat and turn brown.
Place the onion and garlic in. Stir and saute until the onions are translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
Add the flour in and allow it to cook for a couple of minutes. Pour in half the beef broth and stir until it begins to thicken. Add in the other half of the of the beef broth and stir once again until it thickens.
Add the pork chops back in, spoon the gravy over them, reduce the heat, and allow them to simmer for a few minutes.
Plate, pour the gravy over, and garnish with parsley. Enjoy.
