This is a party idea you won't find in a pizza shop or any restaurant. Who would imagine pizza on a skewer. Believe me, when you try this unique party idea, you'll be shocked. As one person said, "I thought the idea was absurd, but when I tried it, my mouth dropped.

Add the oil to a pan over medium-high heat. Place the sausage in and fry until browned and cooked though. Set aside on a plate.
Put the dough on a floured surface and roll it out into a rectangle less than 1/4 inch thick (about 12 inches by 16 inches). Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into 1 inch sections.
Using a metal or wooden skewer, put on a piece of sausage followed by a piece of mushroom, bell pepper, pepperoni, onion, and tomato. Repeat this process to fill the skewer. Take a strip of dough a pierce the one end with the skewer and wrap the dough around so the vegetables and meat peek through.
Repeat this process for the rest of the skewers. This should give you about 6 pizza sticks.
Sprinkle with basil and mozzarella. Place into a 400 degree F or 200 C oven for about 15 to 17 minutes.
Serve with pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy your pizza sticks.
