Instructions
-
Season both sides of the pork chops with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
-
Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4 to 5 minutes per side until nicely browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
-
In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and mushrooms. Fry for a few minutes until softened and lightly browned. Add the chopped garlic and cook for another minute.
-
Sprinkle in the flour and stir well until the vegetables are coated and the flour is lightly cooked, about 1 minute.
-
Slowly pour in the beef broth while stirring to prevent lumps. Add the Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper. Stir until the gravy begins to thicken.
-
Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon some gravy over top. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until the pork chops are tender and fully cooked through.
-
Garnish with parsley. Serve hot with mashed potatoes, green beans, or your favorite side dishes. Spoon plenty of the onion mushroom gravy over top and enjoy.

Note
• Bone-in pork chops will give you the best flavor and stay more tender while simmering in the gravy.
• If the gravy becomes too thick, simply add a splash of extra beef broth until you reach your desired consistency.
• For extra rich flavor, allow the pork chops to simmer gently in the gravy for a few extra minutes before serving.
• This dish pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or buttered vegetables.
• Leftovers reheat very well and may taste even better the next day as the flavors continue to develop.
