Ingredients
Ingredients for the Creamy Ground Beef
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying
  • 1 pound ground beef (Medium or Lean is fine.)
  • 1/2 medium chopped onion
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (15 oz)
  • 2 cups shell pasta
  • 3/4 cups table cream or heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 cup old sharp cheddar cheese (You can use the cheese of your choice.)
Instructions
    Cooking the Creamy Ground Beef
  1. Add the oil to a pan over medium high heat. Place the ground beef in, break it down, and fry it until brown and cooked through. Drain any excess grease. Place it in a bowl and set it aside.

  2. In the same pan, add in the onions, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir and saute until the onions start to become translucent and the garlic fragrant. This will take about 2 minutes.

  3. Add in the all purpose flour. Stir and cook until the flour is brown and cooked.

  4. Pour in the beef broth and spaghetti sauce. Stir until well combined. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. While the sauce is simmering, add the pasta to a pot of boiling salted water. Allow it to cook for about 10 minutes until al dente. Strain and set aside.

  6. Add the beef and noodles to the sauce. Pour in the cream and season with salt and pepper. Stir until nicely combined. It looks and smells so good.

  7. Add in the cheese and stir until melted.

  8. Serve and enjoy your thick and creamy ground beef pasta.
