  1. Add the ground beef to a pan over medium high heat. Break it up and fry until cooked through and no longer pink. Push the beef to one side of the pan and add in the mushrooms. Stir and fry until they release water and begin to change color. Push them to one side with the beef and add in the onion and garlic. Stir and saute until fragrant. Give everyting a good mix together.

  2. Add in the Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and the flavor explosion. Mix once again. Pour in the beef broth, heavy cream, and milk. Stir once again and bring it to a soft boil. Put the egg noodles in and stir. Reduce the heat and allow it to simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are cooked.

  3. After the noodles are cooked, add in the peas and sour cream. Stir and allow to cook for an additional 3 minutes or so until the peas are heated through.

  4. Plate, serve, and enjoy your Weeknight Saver: Ground Beef & Noodle Skillet in 30 Minutes!

Note

  • Use any pasta you have: If you don’t have egg noodles, try rotini, penne, or even macaroni — just adjust the cooking time as needed.
  • Add more veggies: Toss in some peas, diced carrots, or bell peppers with the onion to boost nutrition and color.
  • Make it spicier: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce for a little kick.
  • Swap the protein: Ground turkey or pork also works great if you’re out of beef.
  • Cheese swap: Try mozzarella or Monterey Jack for a milder flavor, or go sharp with aged cheddar.
  • Meal prep friendly: This dish reheats beautifully, making it perfect for leftovers or lunch the next day.
