Description

This garlic bread recipe is perhaps one of the best I've ever made. The recipe consists of a simple combination of ciabatta bread, a garlic butter mixture, and basil. The outcome is simply spectacular.

Ingredients
  • 4 slices ciabatta bread
  • 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons fresh basil, divided
  • 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
Instructions
  1. Lay the ciabatta bread out on a flat surface.

  2. In a small mixing bowl, add in the butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and basil. Using a fork or other utensil, cream the ingredients together until well combined.

  3. Add a generous application of the garlic butter to each piece of ciabatta and smooth out. Add another layer of mozzarella generously. Garnish with basil.

  4. Place the bread on a baking try lined with parchment paper and bake at 374 F or 190 C for 10 or 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.

  5. Serve and enjoy your ciabatta garlic bread
