Description

I serve them up for breakfast at least twice a month and the entire family loves them. Made with granny smith apples, they have that bit of tartiness to them that I enjoy so much. You can use other types of apples as well that are just as nice and just as healthy.

The only other thing you might want to add to them is a bit of cinnamon. Watch the video, give them a try, and let us know what you think.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 small egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small Grany Smith apple (grated)
Instructions
  1. Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt to a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.

  2. Place in the egg, milk, and apple. Whisk once again until a batter forms.

  3. Heat a pan to medium heat and add in the butter. Scoop about 1 cup of the mixture in and fry until golden brown on one side.

  4. Flip and cook on the other side until golden brown.

  5. Place, top with syrup and butter. Serve and enjoy your healthy apple pancakes.
