Ingredients
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, shredded
  • 2 cups macaroni noddles, uncooked
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1 medium sweet apple, diced (I use delicious, but it's your choice.)
  • 1 small can of pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 3/4 cups mayo (Use more if you want it creamier.)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Add the chicken breasts to a pot of boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool. Once cooled, shred using two forks or you hands. 

  2. Add the noodles to a pot of boiling water and cook for about 9 or 10 minutes until al dente. Drain and add to a boil. 

  3. To the noodles, add the onion, apple, pineapple, raisins, relish, chicken, mayo, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until well combined. 

  4. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.  

  5. Serve and enjoy your chicken salad.
