Our beef ribs in salsa recipe is simply to die for. Made with homemade salsa and thin beef ribs, it is tender, spicy, and finger licking good. These are great served up when you have guests over or at a game night or party. Believe me, you friends, family, and guests will ask for more.

There are a couple of variations to making our beef ribs in salsa recipe. As I mentioned, we use thin beef ribs, but you can use thicker ribs if you wish, just adjust the cooking time accordingly. Pork ribs can also be used. Also, don't be afraid to use the rub of your choice.

  1. To Make the Salsa, add the tomato, jalapeno, garlic, water, salsa, beef bouillon, and pepper to a blender. Pulse until completely  combined and liquified. 

  2. Place the ribs into a large mixing bowl and add the garlic powder, onion powder, flavour explosion, pepper, and salt. Toss and message into the meat until well combined. 

  3. Add some oil to a pan over medium high heat. Place the ribs in and fry, in batches, on each side until they are browned.

  4. Set the ribs aside to rest.

  5. In the same pan, add the onion in and saute until it starts to become translucent. 

  6. Pour the salsa mixture and bay leaves in, stir, and bring it to a rapid boil.

  7. Put the ribs back in and lay the green onions over the top. Place a lid on the pan, lower the heat, and allow it to simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.

  8. Plate the ribs and spoon some of the sauce over. 

  9. Serve with rice on the side and enjoy your beef ribs in salsa.

Note

The ingredients and amounts can vary too when it comes to the salsa. For example, if you find there is too much heat, cut back on the jalapeno. If you want more heat, add more pepper.
