Adobong Sitaw is a very healthy vegetable dish. Sitaw is a common vegetable in the Philippines. In English, is referred to as string beans. It is always present in carinderias or small restaurants, and it is often prepared in Filipino kitchens. I consider this as one of the food of the masses as string beans is inexpensive and most people can afford to buy it.Β If you are uncomfortable using pork, you can discard it completely or lessen the amount. But remember, pork adds more flavor to the dish. This Filipino recipe is extremely simple and delicious.
