Creamed cheese balls are a fast and easy appetizer. They are great served up over the holiday or at parties. They also make a really nice weekend snack.
You can use just about any cream just with this recipe. Philadelphia creamed cheese is the most popular and seems to work the best. It comes in several flavors, but I prefer the original. The garlic is optional. It does add a nice accent to the cheese ball, however. The tabasco sauce adds a nice kick.Β I use walnuts as they compliment the filling nicely. Β I suppose, pecans or other crushed nuts could be used, as well. I like to serve my cheese ball up with Ritz cracker. You can use your favorite crackers if you wish.
