One pan honey maple glazed chicken is a simple and delicious midweek meal. The entire dish can be made up in about half and hour and provides a meal the entire family will love. I always serve mine up with some mashed or rice. A garden salad never goes amiss either.

Season the chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and paprika.

Add the oil to a pan over medium high heat. Place the chicken in and fry for a few minutes on each side until cooked through and browned. Set aside on a plate.

In the same pan, add in the butter, allow it to melt, and deglaze the pan.

Add in the honey, maple syrup, soy sauce, and bbq sauce. Stir and bring to a boil.

Place the chicken back in, lower the heat, spoon sauce over, and allow it to simmer for a few minutes.

Plate, spoon more sauce over, garnish with green onion, serve, and enjoy.

You can use breasts as well. I just find that thighs add a bit more flavour.
