Beef with snow peas is a simple and delicious recipe. The recipe is Asian in origin, but like many recipes, has become popular around the globe. The entire dish takes about 30 minutes to make which makes it another one of our popular midweek meals. This is a recipe that your family and friends will love.
Let discuss a few tips to making this tasty dish. First, the peas of best when the stringy portion is removed. To do this, grab the curly end, pinch the string, and peel it back. It takes a few minutes to do this process, but it makes the peas so much nicer. You can use as many snow peas as you wish in the recipe.
You can use any cut of beef, but I usually use a sirloin cut. Just remember that the better the cut, the more tender the meat will be. There’s nothing worse than chewing tough, grizzly meat. It’s also best to make sure the meat is at room temperature to ensure it cooks evenly. Try and cut the meat thinly across the grain, as well.
The spices can also be altered to some extent. For example, if you’re a garlic lover, add more; if you’re a ginger lover, do likewise. The same applies to the soy sauce, etc.
