These cheesy chicken nuggets are so easy to make and packed with flavour, not to mention oozing mozzarella cheese. There are so many great things about this recipe. First off, it can be made in about 30 minutes. Secondly, you will probably have all of the ingredients lurking in your pantry. Well, you might have to go out and buy the ground chicken, unless you have some stocked away in your freezer. Believe me, they make such a great party snack, your guests will never leave.
Cheesy Chicken Nuggets in 30 Minutes
I had friends coming over and was looking for a fast and easy treat. Sometimes, they are difficult to find. I knew I had ground chicken in the fridge and some mozzarella cheese. I also concluded that chicken nuggets are always a great party food. So, I put two and tow together and made up these cheesy chicken nuggets. I have to say they were a hit.
Add the chicken and seasoning to a mixing bowl. Using your hands or spoon, mix until well combined.
Use 3 separate bowls. In the first bowl, add in the flour. In the second bowl, the eggs. And, in the third bowl, add in the bread crumbs.
Grab up a palm full of the mixture and place it in the palm of your hand. Form it into a ball and flatten it out. Place a block of cheese into the centre. Fold the chicken mixture over it and form it into a ball again. Set it aside and repeat the process for the remaining chicken mixture. Form each ball into a nugget shape of your choice.
Dredge each wedge into the flour and ensure it's completely coated. Shake off any excess flour and roll it in the egg mixture. Then, in the third bowl, dredge them them in the bread crumbs. Set aside on a baking sheet. Repeat the process for all of the nuggets.
Pour your oil into a pan and heat to about 350 degrees F or 180 C. Fry the chicken wedges until they are golden brown and set them aside on a wire rack.
Serve with the sauce of your choice and enjoy.

I use ground chicken, but you can also use boneless skinless breast and grind them in a meat grinder of food processor.
As always, adjust the seasoning according to your liking.
Mozzarella cheese is the best, but cheddar can be used as an alternative.
I use bbq sauce, but use the dipping sauce of your choice.
