Our chicken cutlet sandwich is one of the greatest sandwiches I have ever tasted. This recipe is Japanese origin and knows as Chicken “katsu” sandwiches.
Chicken Cutlet Sandwich
Made with a simple, yet delicious sauce, lettuce, mayo, and chicken, it is simply out of this world. This is a must try. Your family and friends will love it.
For the sauce
Slice chicken in half (horizontally) . Season with salt and pepper.
Dredge in flour, then in egg wash and lastly cover with breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Fry chicken over medium heat until crispy golden brown. About 2 - 2 1/2 minutes on each sides.
Combine ketchup and Worcestershire sauce in small bowl. Set aside.
Lay one piece of bread on flat surface. Spread miracle whip, followed by lettuce. Lay the chicken over the top and spread sauce on top of the chicken. Put the top bread on. Cut all the edges of bread. Cut the sandwich in half.
Serve on plate and enjoy.
