I love pizza but often don’t like to go through the hassle of making the dough, etc. I have had pizza on plain bread, buns, and bagels in the past, but they just don’t seem to make the mark. Then, I thought of the idea of creating my pizza on ciabatta bread. It’s an Italian bread that was developed in response to the popularity of French breads. It’s also a bread I love. Believe me, the outcome was incredible.
Ciabatta Bread Pizza
Our ciabatta bread pizza is a delicious combination of pepperoni, marinara, mozzarella, and served on a delicious slice of Italian ciabatta bread. The result is simply out of this world.
Place about 2 tbsp of marinara sauce into the centre of each slice of ciabatta bread and swirl it towards the outer edge.
Place a generous amount of mozzarella over each piece followed by the pepperoni and basil.
Place on a baking sheet lined with some parchment paper and bake at 375 F or 190 C for about 10 minutes or until the bread browns and the cheese melts and become bubbly.
Serve and enjoy your ciabatta bread pizza.

In this recipe, I've simple added the basics to the pizza. You can certainly add additional ingredients if you wish. For example, olives, onions, ham, etc. would certainly not go amiss. Also pizza sauce or homemade marinara sauce can be used.
