Sweet and Sour meatballs originated in China. They have become a popular main dish in the Philippines or anywhere around the globe for that matter. They are primarily made from ground pork, which is shaped, into balls and cooked with a sweet and sour sauce. They can be eaten as a main course, or a finger food at parties or fiestas. A side dish of rice is also a welcomed addition.
