Ingredients
- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into cubes
- 2 stalks of celery, chopped
- 1 medium size shallot, chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, cubed
- For the Marinate:
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tsp of corn starch
- pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
- For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tsp of oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp of corn starch
- 2 tbsp of water
- 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add the chicken to a bowl. Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, corn starch, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Allow to marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, make the sauce by combining the ingredients in a small bowl or measuring cup.
- Add some oil to a preheated pan. Place the chicken in and fry until cooked through and white.
- Add the vegetables in toss and fry until tender crisp.
- Pour the sauce in and fry until the sauce thickens.
- Serve over a bed of hot rice and enjoy your one pan black pepper chicken.
