Cocoa Truffles – 3 Ingredients

Cocoa truffles are simple to make and only involve three ingredients. I usually make them up the night before as they are so much nicer when they have chilled for a while. You can, however, eat them directly after making them. They are great served up at birthdays, parties, or any social event for that matter. Give them a try and let us know what you think.

There are a few tips and trick to making these super delicious cocoa truffles. First, you can use the toppings of your choice. We use cocoa and sprinkles in the recipe but the suggestions are endless. For example, you could use nuts, powdered sugar, coconut flakes, etc. The list goes on and on. This recipe will give you 10 to 12 cocoa balls. If you want more, simply double or triple the recipe. I use unsweetened cocoa, but if you want them super sweet, you can use sweetened cocoa. Also, if you want them really rich, you can add a bit more cocoa. It’s also important to let the mixture set in the fridge for about an hour. If you don’t, it will be really hard to work with. Lastly, I always give the palm of my hands a dusting of cocoa to insure none of the mixture sticks to them.
