Peanut brittle is so simple to make. It’s a great recipe for the Holidays. I always make up a nice batch at Christmas time. This recipe uses 3 simple ingredients. You can, however, alter it according to your taste. For example, you could add vanilla, corn syrup, cinnamon, or butter. Give this simple recipe a try and let us know what you think.

- Spray a baking tray with baking spray.
- Add the sugar and water to a pot and stir until they are combined. Allow it to cook over medium low heat for 5 minutes until the sugar begins to caramelize. Stir for 30 seconds.
- Simmer for another 2 minutes stirring occasionally until light brown.
- Add the peanuts in and stir them until they are completely covered with the mixture.
- Pour the mixture onto the baking tray, spread it around, and smooth it out. Allow it to cool completely.
- Use a knife to lift the peanut brittle off of the baking tray. Break it into small pieces and serve.
