For the Sauce


  1. Add the ingredients for the sauce in a mixing bowl and stir until well combined. Set aside.

  2. Add some oil to a pan over medium high heat. Place the beef in stir and fry until just about browned. Add the onion in and continue to stir and fry until the onion is translucent and the beef is browned.

  3. Pour the sauce in, stir, and cook until it comes to a boil. Simmer for a few minutes.

  4. Serve over a bed of steaming hot rice. Garnish with chopped green onions, chopped hot peppers, and sesame seeds. 

  5. Serve and enjoy your Korean beef bowl.
