Jalapeno Poppers

Jalapeno Poppers are fun and easy to make. I always make them up for parties and they are a great hit. Give the a try and let us know what you think.

There are a few tips to making these tasty little devils. I like using cheddar cheese, but you can use your favorite. If you want them less hot, remove more of the seeds from the chilies.

Ingredients
  • 10-12 jalapenos
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, at room temperature, cheddar cheese, and peppers. Scoop the mixture in and make sure each jalapeno is packed firmly.
  3. Dip the poppers into the bowl of milk. Next, roll them into the flour, and then back into milk again. After that, coat them into the breadcrumbs.
  4. Deep fry poppers on batches into 350 preheated vegetable oil for about 1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside and serve with ranch dressing or condiments of your choice. Enjoy.
